Alexander McQueen Chelsea boots, am I just buying a label?
I've seen some black leather Alexander McQueen chelsea boots come up online for around the £240 mark. I'm wondering what the quality is like and whether I'm really just paying for the label rather than "quality". For £240 though, it does seem like a decent purchase

You’re paying for the design
With McQueen shoes you're generally paying for the very specific soles they do that aren't really available elsewhere (apart from maybe dirt cheap/poor build quality zara knock offs etc).
The build quality is generally going to be ok to good, you could probably do theoretically better "quality" at the same price (but you'll likely get generic looking shoes that don't have the same details), but it really depends what you mean by "quality".
