Good shoes to pair with sneakers?
Im trying to find a good pair of sneakers to wear with shorts. I'm thinking about white sneakers but I'm open to other suggestions as well.
So far I've found: Stan smiths, Veja v-10 or campo, Nike killshot, and ON Rogers. Any thoughts on those shoes? Or similar ones?

Can't go wrong with canvas in hotter weather, like Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars, or Vans Authentics or Slip-ons. I like my Stans, but I don't wear mine with shorts too frequently, never personally been a huge fan of leather sneaker + shorts
Moose is gonna fit check me and shorts + stans when he moves to my city ig
I wouldn’t wear extremely chunky sneakers (depending on the vibe! Chunky low, Mid and high top sneakers + shorts is a pretty classic streetwear-y look) and agree that canvas is largely probably the move
Hokas would probably work, everyone where I live wears on running shoes, Techy/gorpy “sneakers” like Salomons should work
GATs, killshots, onitsuka tigers, various new balances also probably fine
I guess what I’m saying is don’t overthink it, if it looks good to you it’s probably fine
(This is also as much advice as can be given without understanding more about the way you dress, the color of the shorts, inseam, etc)
yeah, I have blazers that i wear with long pants but i want some classier low top sneakers for when im wearing shorts. Im also a skater so i have pretty much every vans you can get. I guess im more looking for something a bit more preppy.
mostly pastel shorts(pink, light blue, cream etc.....) 5 inch inseam
White canvas converse low tops will probably do the trick
IMO vans authentics (esp. off-white white or a non-saturated blue) probably easiest to integrate into preppy/ivy mode. non-sneaker options are huaraches and loafers probly
sweet! thanks! I forgot about converse and maybe ill dust off some vans and give them a shot
