Long Socks for Hot Weather

Does anyone have any long sock recommendations for hot weather? It’s already pushing past 80 here and I can’t wear my long socks anymore.

a couple brands make linen or linen/cotton socks
they are usually crew-length
not the most durable but very comfy
Do you know what brands? and are they expensive?
smartwool's lightweight merino socks are a good option; breathable but still moisture wicking and often on sale online or at sporting good stores
yes, they are expensive. I have the ones by NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA, I know Rototo does them too, both are japanese brands. Just googling linen socks turns up some others, but they are all expensive.
this might be the plan. Are they called lightweight merino? the website confuses me
That’s kind of a shame. I like the idea of linen socks
