Looking for tips on buying lug sole boat shoes

Hello guys. I've been recently looking to buy myself a pair of 3-eye lug sole boots, like those in the picture (Which are timberland), and since i see many of you in waywt rocking a similar pair, i have a few questions: - What's considered a "good" price for a brand new pair? I've been checking several brands (timberland, sebago, gh bass, camper) but all the pairs i've seen cost around 100-150 euros on sale. I'm debating whether to pull the trigger on a 100€ pair or waiting for a better deal. - Is it worth looking secondhand? If yes, where? (EU based). I've been looking on Vinted/ebay but the pairs i've seen are either pricy or beat up. The recent surge in popularity of this model sure doesn't help. And of course if you have better brands recommendations please let me know. Sadly i have a limited budget (around 100, 150 at max) but i'm willing to wait for them to go on sale. Thanks in advance!

I've bought mine two weeks ago. I grab a brand new pair of Tim 3 eyes from Vinted for 60€. The seller is from Portugal so i think this is a pair with some defaults from the factory. The pair is good but i need to break them. They are not TTS : i take my usual 42 from Timberland and i should take 41,5.

Thanks for the reply. I'll be checking vinted more often then. So you say they run half a size small? If i am a 43 in sneakers would 42 be too small?

I would say 42 or 42.5 could work the best is maybe try a pair in a store ans then search on Vinted

I went through this recently and ended up buying those exact Timberlands new. I think there was a small sale going on. I wasn't able to find any brands/models in this style (us based) secondhand that were not beat all to heck and back in this price range

Alright, thanks again These look really nice. I'll take a look around Same esperience so far. Just for reference, how much did you pay for them?

I payed $105 (us) before taxes from Huckberry in late January. They eventually got down to $75 looking at the product page there but are all sold out. Shipping was complimentary https://huckberry.com/store/timberland/category/p/84027-authentics-3-eye-classic-lug-boat-shoe

Thanks. Sounds like a good deal for a brand new pair. I'll probably go this route if i won't be able to find anything secondhand in a reasonable amount of time.
