When writing a magnet resume for Hunter's magnet resume strategy, I am right to assume that overlapping jobs are fine since it's targeted at C2C contracts ?

Can't say much for C2C, but when i think about reviewing resumes for W2 roles I filled in the past, overlaps make me question the candidate more.
I wouldn't think anything was off if the timelines never overlap.
@2than i think ur probably right
hard to combine this approach with a pimped out linkedin tho
yeah
i had a 2nd one a while ago but when I check last week it was banned
had an AI generated profile picture and added 100% LION linked in open networker people so I guess you gotta take some care
do you have a rec for residential proxies?
i'm not aware what's up with cryllic chars? Wouldn't really want a name with crylllic chars tho
but what's the point? isn't it just a turn off to some recruiters if you have cryllic chars in your name? I'd expect it to be best to be american
ok, so there's no downside, but I still don't get the upside 😅
I mean about the cryllic characters, I don't understand the upside

No
my name isn't super convenient for english speakers so my plan was for my LI alt to be an americanized version
I'm going for contract based through LLC so they'll never need my real ID anyways
just to recap, you're suggested plan is:
- have one decked out LI with tons of skills and min 3y at each job
- this is your bait for recruiters
- have one empty LI, you use this to go directly to companies
(?)
seems very time intensive to set up + an alt of mine already got banned before
but this seems to be your go-to approach ?
what type of jobs do you target? (W2, C2C, ... junior/senior) ?
i'm assuming due to your blackhat BG
for C2C work I'm not sure multiple decked out LI is the best approach 🤔 currently I have bbeen focused on manual LI outreach to CEOs and CTOs and I'm planning to expand to Dice
and if you deck out a role-specific wagecuck LI you get decent inbound? My main LI gets 0 inbound but it's not branded as a wagecuck tho
any specific reason you're focused on W2 instead of C2C ?
a lot of average freelancers doing C2C no? I do agree W2 is more average than freelance tho
I think I can also target W2 roles and just mention I always work on C2C contracts at some point if I'd prefer that
W2 roles do seem somewhat better wlb but lower $ too
it's the opposite where I'm based
but regardless
C2C take that into account right
I think I will create a wagecuck LI for some inbound, and I will also create accounts on C2C website like those you sent
thanks, you too!
apreciate the insights
When utilizing the magnet resume, is this only for websites like Indeed and other job platforms or would I also use this resume for a job listing on a company website?
When I apply to the company site job listing, I’ll only have 1 resume to upload. Would I get the best chance of being screened with magnet resume?
I ask because I’ve been getting 50/50 automated response saying a human will verify each resume vs a generic thank you for applying we’ll get back to you if there’s a match.
It seems like a failure if I upload a magnet resume but a human verifies it

there's no right answer to this. You just have to test the different versions until you start to get something that works.
Every company works differently with processing applications. There's no single answer. Some want tailored, some will take generic, etc.
My approach is to have a magnet on the generic job boards (indeed, dice, etc.) then have a tailored one for specific applications or on LinkedIn.
The idea is around the audience you're targeting. Job boards like Dice are dumb recruiters literally only looking for keywords.
The company application stage have people looking to understand the value of your skills and how you can help them. The context of who is looking at your resume is what matters.
