Unable to Install on Steam Deck
Created the bootable drive just fine, and boots to the installer.
However - seems like it’s a resolution issue in the installer where selectable options aren’t available to progress past the keyboard select. Maybe there’s a keyboard shortcut I could use instead?
I’ve tried with and without an external monitor attached. It always loads only on the deck screen, in this size.
I’ve also tried Troubleshooting->Basic Graphics Mode, but that just black screens like the loader doesn’t work at all.
On the OG (non-OLED) Deck 256GB.

You could probably press tab a few times and enter, but it's going to be very difficult navigating the installer without seeing the full screen
Maybe you can install using the deck without the external screen but with an external keyboard and mouse?
I’ve tried this both with and without the external, but it renders the same way regardless…

I think I might have a work around. you might be able to install via text mode, I'm testing it at the moment in a VM
I managed to install Bazzite using the text mode installer. If you do the following do you get a window like I get (without the text cut off in any way)? If so I might be able to guide you in installing Bazzite via text mode
Idk why thats happening to you. I've had bazzite for a while now so its been a bit but last time I did install bazzite I didnt have this issue until first boot after the install and then i could just change the screen res myself so..... how odd. Maybe ask in bazzite general?
