is there anyway i could make a usb/something else connect a external display?

so i have a laptop with a broken screen, im looking to create or find something to auto connect my other laptop as a external display or as a monitor type thingy. any suggestions/solutions?

i was originally thinking about making a program for a usb and letting it connect to a external display when the usb is plugged in or sun

You can remote desktop to it As long as it is local network it doesn't require additional setup

You need Windows Pro or a remote desktop app (not like TeamViewer) And to connect: It is just the local ip of your computer

how could i see the local ip of my broken laptop, from my other laptop ?

You can check it in your router It should show all local IPs connected
