keyboard stops working?
sometimes when I open valorant my keyboard just wont work and ill have to power down my laptop and open up valorant to fix it and I usually have to power down my laptop a few times

What laptop do you have? I have the same issue where my keyboard becomes disabled when I open valorant and will not work again until I restart my laptop. Closing the game doesn't fix it.
I've already made a support ticket and they cannot seem to figure out how to fix the issue.
My laptop has a Ryzen 9 7945HX3D

internal keyboard you mean ?
I believe they are referring to the built-in laptop keyboard. The integrated one.

might be driver issue
Open task manager
Then details
Close every valorant,riot client and vanguard related apps/services
Open control panel- Uninstall programs - Uninstall riot vanguard Open cmd as admin and type these commands:- 1: 2: Navigate to your
C drive then -> program files and find vanguard folder and delete it.
Then open riot client and click update
Restart your pc after the update.

I also have the same laptop
Yeah, they are having me update my keyboards firmware because the driver may not have bene correctly signed and vanguard is disabling it.
I have yet to see if this is going to fix it.

My keyboard still ended up becoming disabled until I restart the whole laptop.

does your keyboard work in other games / applications?
or does it stop working just when you launch valorant?
It only stops working when I use valorant.
