Levi's Premium Jeans...? How do they compare to normal?

* What is the difference between "normal" Levis and "Premium Levis? * Difference in material, in craftsmanship, in durability or weight? * Have any of you bought normal and premium to compare them? This seems like it's a money-grab.

Every step up in levis lines is a step up in pretty much everything. Material quality, production quality, often (but not always) production ethics, etc. Imo base Levi’s is like Shien level clothing, Premium is okay, and then Made & Crafted + Vintage line are really pretty nice stuff. I dont know about red tab, blue tab, and silvertab but those are also other lines that you may want to look into Often the M&C + Vintage are handmade and usually in first world countries You’re better off buying cheap jeans at gap on sale than buying base levis Biggest thing though is that you should only really buy levis on sale since it goes on sale super often on their site unless you REALLY need something right now

I've been buying shitty levis and then when they rip at the crotch I ask for a warranty they give me enough money to buy 1.8 pairs and then I rinse and repeat. I've done it twice now seems they rather sell jeans for $10 a pair than improve quality but we'll see if they keep allowing warranties.

Vintage is usually the way to go with Levi's, otherwise like Shrimp said the quality can really jump. But even then, I find their quality control isn't the best. LVC is usually top notch but you definitely pay for it. If you're looking for 505, unless you want something raw, vintage is the way to go. Better fit, better quality, usually cheaper.

I'm gonna stick with my $15 a pair new Levis until they stop honoring the warranties but if I can ever afford vintage I'll go for them! Yeah. Their quality and size measurements are alll over the place
