you would be able to see your chat on your stream if your viewing your stream from your pc or if your viewing your stream on mobile with the browser in desktop mode

the tutorial i was watching said that if i type in my twitch chat i will be able to see it on overlay

how long did you wait to see the chat message, theres a delay on twitch before the streamer sees the chat
