Filtering Categories (With Buttons)
hello everyone,
i'm very new to webflow and would like to make a simple portfolio website, i dont have any issues right now because i havent even started building it
i really want to know the right way to go about this before i start building, any insight would be really appreciated as i would love to learn and efficiently work within webflow
as you can see on the image, i want to have 3 categories displaying 3 different selections of work i have which i would like to put in these "read more cards"
FIRST FILTERING WAY (more important):
when the page initially loads all types of works are displayed, but when a button is clicked i would like only the ux/ui or design or illustration works depending on the filtering button pressed (that are above the content cards)
SECOND FILTERING WAY:
when the menu buttons are pressed the page should scroll down to the selected work section (since i want this to be a one pager) and filter the selected category just like the little buttons above would
LAST QUESTION:
the "content read more cards" would be achieved with cms right? im not very sure how to go about that either
all in all i would like to know if this is possible and how i would do it, any help or any existing tutorials would help immensely as i am very new to webflow and perhaps dont know the terms to search so i am feeling a bit cautious before starting
thank you so much in advance!!!

you could use finsweet attributes for the filtering logic, though I don't often add two filter sets to the same page. I think it should be fine. For the nav, you'll have to add a scroll anchor which you could achieve with the scroll anchor attribute.
actually i would just make one filter set (the buttons directly above the cards)
then, just make the nav regular links with scroll anchors to that section. Use the finsweet mirror click attribute to trigger click of the correct filter button based on which nav button is clicked.
it should work assuming you don't have a really large number of collection items.
it's also a bit non-standard so this may not be the most accessible solution but it sounds like you have a particular design in mind.
I would create a small mvp for functionality, do the styling later to confirm it works. should be management with a webflow free plan
