Claymore kills don't count
I'm going through a week-long challenge and I can't complete the task "2 kills with Claymore" and "4 kills with rangefinder". Claymore kills will not be counted at all, although enemies were blown up on my claymores in front of my eyes. Also with the rangefinder, I tried to use it at different distances, but the kills still didn't count

claymore kills count as suicides
you should try placing some, then shooting them when people get near
might solve your problem but at that point just don't do the challenges
each week the challenges get worse
(you can't get kills with rangefinder)
