For those using hotswaps on the tidbit, how are you keeping your 2u keys stable? I bought stabs without realizing that the tidbit doesn't actually support then(;_;) and I'm not sure what I'm actually supposed to be doing. I feel like the amount of instability I'm getting is gonna kill the copper pins on the switches eventually

@some what did you end up doing here? I want to go hotswap but without a plate I'm worried about stability as well.
My build is with a plate. All the keys are mostly stable, the 2u ones just tilt vertically cuz there's no horizontal bars to keep them steady
I wouldn't try to do hotswap without a plate, it'd be super unstable and unpleasant to type on
Appreciate the quick reply - I have not built a nullbits before so am just looking at options. Was the plate supplied or did you print one?
I bought the fr4 plate
I'd recommend buying one
Maybe you could get away with a PLA plate but I suspect it'd wear out after a few swaps. I don't really trust plastic friction fits.
Where did you buy the plate from? all the website does is send you to Amazon for the kits. 🙂
