Electric Charges And Field...Class 12...Mains pyq doubts
Is there a set formula to solve Question no. 4.... Ie. Is there a formula to divide know the exact value of change transferred when 2 objs touch.
Also pls tell the solution without the formula if possible

Eg: Sphere A = 5C, Sphere B = 3C. When they both touch each other, each of them gets a charge (5+3)/2 = 4C
In this qn charge is not given, so take charge Q on both A and B, so that its easier to solve.
Not a set formula just use coulumbs law to solve
since both the spheres are identical, the charges get distribution equally on both
had they not been identical then the bigger sphere would get more charge and the smaller one would get lower charge
