Linen pants tailoring?
I found these pre-owned in a size 52 at a good price

would it be possible to take them down to a 50? is that even a good idea?

potentially though a 2" (total circumference) alteration is the outer limit in terms of taking in the waist
check the actual waist measurements listed and compare to actual measurements of pants you have that fit you
it does say these are elasticated which could cause issues?
yeah, I was wondering about that. I'll check with my tailor.
in case this doesn't work out, any <$300 options similar to this?
i'm personally looking for vintage polo ralph lauren linen trousers
i didn't really find much else from other brands on ebay like it
they're hard to find in my waist size (30) but you may have more luck. i found one in a nice color the other week but someone outbid me for it (the asking was $60-70)
i don't like the idea of hybrid dress-elastic trousers btw
:NOTED:
thanks, i'll see what i can find
for sub-300 casatlantic and black ficus are both viable options
I second Casatlantic
i ordered the mogador yesterday, hope this turns out well
i'll keep black ficus in my back pocket for the next pair. seems to be a long wait time
