help a newbie out (colors)
What are like 4 simple color combos that work well? For example i found out white top with light blue jeans works lmao, also like black top light khaki pants, or maybe even light blue top brown ish pants?
I dont want the list of like 50 colors but what are some simple colors that go together and are easy to style?

You can't really go wrong with:
Greens and blues
Blues and browns
Browns and greens
Grey with any of the above

What about summer though
All those colour still work in summer.
same colors, different clothes
What clothes tho
Other than oversized graphic tshirts and 5 inch shorts
Linen stuff, probably.
Short-sleeved dress shirts are kinda my go-to there (if that's what they're called).
How hot are we talking? I’d be wearing straight/ baggy trousers in summer in London
I'd advise against long pants unless you're indoors for a lot of the day.
Ahh yes linen i forgot about
But how do u match a backpack with like a rolled sleeve shirt and full pants
you wear the backpack
But its a north face backpack
I feel like it only goes with my typical college kid outfits
Not the linen stuff or yk shirts and all
I'd tell you to get a messenger bag, but if the backpack is a must, try not to make it stand out I guess?
Im in college so yeah backpack is a must
look through #waywt s posted in summer months, there's tons of creative fits you can pull off even when it's hot
Well that's 'cause backpacks are kind of broadly associated with school in general.
So ig no dressing up like im on a vacation in europe for my college days?
I mean, you could if you cut down on the amount of stuff you carry.
what is your typical style of dress?
pictures would be helpful (can use #waywt or #inspiration if needed)
So i used to dress like shit but last winter my style game went up a loot
Because winter its easier to layer and stuff
I'm in university and I barely use half my messenger bag, but I'm a business major so your situation is probably tougher.
I need my laptop thats about it, i was thinking like a neutral herschel grey or black backpack?
this is true, but even within that there's still different ways to dress
Look at RAINS backpacks and other bags they sell
If you want that vibe, maybe try looking up "summer hiking outfit"
And then modify as you go along
This is how i wanna dress in summer
Charcoal is like, really versatile. A lot moreso than black imho
pretty good fit tbh
thats tight
I mean, you can put a backpack on him and it doesn't compromise the fit that hard I think
But a north face backpack lmao
that fit is relatively easy to pull off
Yeah
You could probably find all those pieces at uniqlo
Probably try earthy colors if you want that khakicore shit
aside from shoes
I have this one
Will this work with more stylish outfits
Like linen stuff
thats a nice bag why do you need a new one
Fuck yeah it will
I never used this lmao
Wasnt confident
Ey fuck man this is great lmao
I thought you meant some satin-ass 12th grade looking backpack covered in poly blend.
That backpack is fly as fuckkkkkk
I use a north face daily
Pair that with a tan belt, that's a vibe
Oh shit
What about shoes tho
Do you need new shoes?
Boat shoes... :HYPERSHOCK:
I have some allen edmonds
Like casual brown loafers
But idk what socks or pants to wear with them
To me they only feel right with short shorts
No show socks prob your best bet
tons of people here wear AE and loafers
I'd again recommend looking through wawyt and gathering inspo
This one
you're asking for very general advice, it's difficult to say much without specifics to talk about
Hmmm
Youre gonna have to save that as a jpeg pal
Khaki twill pants :thinkies:
just type
.jpeg at the end of the file when you save it
i'm not very well-versed in dress shoes but mfad generally does not like those sneaker-loafer hybrids
worst of both worlds kind of thing
Ig ill need some linen stuff
And sweater polos
But h&ms $40-50 tops dont seem worth it to me tho
Sure
If you need advice on specifics like what linen pieces to buy, question about shoes etc I'd suggest starting a new thread
I come from a tropical country, where it's 30 plus celsius all year round. Trust me, you're gonna regret that.
Lots of folks here including me recommend thrifting
you'd be right then :LULW:
