Burger spans not showing up in DOM -- do show up in dev tools
working with Astro, everything carries over, my rules for everything else in my nav work but my spans are not receiving any styles even tho the naming lines up and they do appear when inspected. any ideas what is permeating this issue? works fine in my vanilla html / scss / web starter template

for whatever reason swapping the spans with divs resolved this
