yes, but keep in mind it is not something we test since 0 of the devs have an eGPU.
but we have several users here with eGPUs.
however keep in mind that eGPU support is not as good in linux as in windows
Thanks for the answer,
Sorry for waking this up. Would it actually be better to do game streaming via Steam or sunshine?
I have a full desktop with a Rx 6950 xt in it and an i5-13400f
Which i thinking off installing bazzite on also along with sunshine.
The reason for this is the latency and bandwidth on an egpu which I can understand is a rather weakness for such a setup
For streaming I would also get latency but probably a more consistent latency and full bandwidth for the gpu
Sunshine is better that you can stream everything and not just steam. But if you streaming from a windows box you can also use Parsec
True and I would have the power everywhere in the house.
I do have a dream of modding my ikea tv furniture to allow for the desktop to be hooked up beneath the tv and ditching the ps5
It would run bazzite deck image as a couch console. But with the option to power my legion go via sunshine
Forgot to mention the egpu has to be amd or Intel due to Nvidia drivers breaking gamemode session
