Patagonia Baggies: Cut out the mesh?

Curious - do y'all find the mesh lining in the baggies annoying if you aren't swimming in them? Is it easy to just cut them out?

It’s easy to just cut the mesh out and wear them like normal shorts if that’s your vibe. Reasons that I end up keeping the mesh: 1. To swim with them. 2. Mixed hiking where I may walk through streams or creeks and I know I’ll get wet / tide pooling (same reasons) 3. Minimalist traveling, where I can use them as regular shorts and swim/hot tub shorts. But I get that none of these use cases may apply to you.

I leave the mesh in and would add my 4) they can be used as running shorts.

True! I've got two pairs, so I may trim one for non active/water wear and keep one for the reasons above. Tysm

I personally leave the mesh in but a couple of friends always cut it out. i like the option to use them as swim trunks whenever

maybe i’m an outlier, but when i’m not swimming in my Baggies, i still wear briefs under the liner cause i wear them like regular shorts. If im swimming in them i don’t wear briefs
