Sorry back with another question 😅
So through lutris it won't let me sign in via my Gmail login.
Is there a fix for this or should I use another method like non steam launcher?

Just tested my EA login in lutris, it logs in and doesn't return anything, they might have recently changed the installer again
Is there another method I can get to my EA games then?
I tried non steam launcher and nothing happens too
I'm removing it's wine prefix and trying the install again and seeing if that works
Let me know if that works
I'm trying to see if I can get the EA stuff installed in Heroic launcher

I tried adding the exe to steam and launching it with proton experimental seems to be the only way it works so far
That sounds like a decent work around
The installer just hard fails in everything I try.

Something is going on with EA I think because I installed the game but it just didn't start when I clicked play
I saw a few windows threads yesterday where people couldn't get ea working anymore, so it might be a broad issue. What game are you trying to play?
Update: it's started working for me today on lutris. I had to play around with it a bit but it's all good now
What I did was because it wouldn't let me sign in with socials I reset my password signed in with my EA ID and new password.
Not sure if my method fixed it or EA fixed the problem lol
Nope still broken for me, fortunately, there isn't anything on ea play that I want to play right now
