ROG button no longer works
As of the most recent update (40.20240502.0) the right face button no longer brings up the right menu at all.
The left face button does work. CTRL 2 gives the menu if I'm not in a game.
If I select the swap start select option in hhd the right face button becomes that and the select button doesn't do anything.
If I switch to a dual sense emulation in hhd the device starts taking screenshot every few seconds.
I didn't make any changes, simply applied the update.

Turning the Map Armory to QAM in hhd-ui in desktop mode has fixed me up Thanks for your attention.
Anyone else with this issue, somehow the default was swapped from checked to unchecked and that option doesn't appear in the decky plugin at this time, so a desktop mode or triple click for hhd gui should get you access to it....

Same issue on AYN Loki Max. Switching between controller types in Handheld Deamon doesn’t help. handycon.service not found and unable to install via GitHub command due to read-only folder structure
I'm rebasing to the most recent 39-stable. This is the second time I've been bitten by an update in stable.
Rebasing back to 39 doesn't fix the issue. I really do not want to rebuild this thing from scratch.

Indeed the may second build has broken qam, should not be an issue after that or before it though
QAM never broke on f39

The QAM broke after the gamescope update and I pushed an update fixing it the same day

just noticed that the right face button brings up kcalc in desktop mode

run the hhd uninstall script from github
then reboot and send me the log again
and you pressed the qam button?
can you press it twice and see what happens?
I get two copies of the kcalc app in desktop mode
nothing at all in game mode
ok now post the logs again

sudo systemctl stop hhd@$(whoami)It's been the same up until yesterday night, minor update
then run
sudo hhd --user $(whoami) and check logs when you press the buttons
