custom music discs in 1.20.6
hello guys, im trying to make a resource pack and datapack for 1.20.6, i have gotten it to work with 1.20.4 but how do i go about updating it to 1.20.6. I know nothing about packs so please go easy on me. its for music discs and custom sounds, i can send the zip file if anyone wants to have a crack with it

okay I'll do my best
The pack will load, but the music discs when placed in a jukebox will not play music. the music works when I run it with a /function command but if I try to stop it with a function command nothing happens. None of the textures I have work at all. When I try the dp and rp in 1.20.4 everything works as expected, music plays in the jukebox, I can stop it when I take it out, all the textures are loaded, etc
did you change the resourcepack version?
datapack pack_format for 1.20.5-1.20.6 is now 41
1.20.3 -1.20.4 is 26
resource pack format for 1.20.5-1.20.6 looks to be 32 or 33?
I'll give that a shot and get back to you, I'm pretty sure I did do that tho
Yep, doing that nothing changes except for the warning about it not working with my version being gone.
i guess we sdhould start with my first issue and work from there
it seems they custom model data isnt working in 1.20.6
left is 1.20.4 and right is 1.20.6

Yeah, they sure did. I think I am making progress but slowly. I have been able to get some of the music discs to play do I just gotta figure out why those ones work. I haven't been able to get them to stop after they come out the jukebox again. I think I have it under control now though.
I have made massive progress and have managed to get all discs working with custom textures. Imma now mark this as solved.
