How to make a PTR record for a mailcow server (self-hosted)

Do you own your own IP range (for example, through ARIN, APNIC, RIPE, etc)?
Also i assume you’re familiar with all the usual issues with a self-hosted mail server (such as your email ending up in spam)
If you have your own IP range and you delegate your rDNS records to Cloudflare at the RIR then it’s super simple
If you don’t, then you won’t be able to use Cloudflare for rDNS and you’ll have to contact your ISP or server host, whoever owns your IP range, to set your rDNS for you
