Custom Resolution
When i create a custom resolution in nvidia control panel and test it, it works just fine. When i try to use it my screen just goes completely black and if i go back to control panel custom resolutions are no longer there.

No guarantee these will work, but some suggestions.
Update Graphics Drivers: Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with certain games.
Run as Administrator: Try running both Valorant and the Nvidia Control Panel as administrator. This might give them the necessary permissions to modify the graphics settings.
Check Anti-Cheat Software: Valorant uses Vanguard as its anti-cheat software. Sometimes, it can be overly aggressive with certain system configurations, AS its a very strict Anti-Cheat. Check to see if there are any known conflicts between Vanguard and custom resolutions.
