Hey all - I'm new here and was hoping that somebody here could maybe help
I would like to start with - I am not a developer, I am super new to coding and was tasked to set up Apple Pay for a client, which (I thought) was an easy task to take on.
I have tried looking this up but it seems I am either not using the correct keywords when doing so or I'm just being dumb because I cannot for the life of me find any answers; I've tried contacting the payment processor for help - straight to voicemail & they don't answer their emails.
I do not have support tickets on Cloudflare and I am not authorized to upgrade the account since it belongs to my client.
I'm trying to set up apple pay on a payment processor: EasyPayDirect.
The processor is requesting that I do this:
"Upload the verification file to the “.well-known” directory in the root directory of the domain entered above. The file should be publicly-accessible at the following URL before clicking "Add Domain" below."
I have read that I will need to create a page in workers & pages in order to be able to have & access a root directory to upload the file to. Is that correct?
If it's not correct, how do I upload the file?

Okay so what they mean is if your site is example.com
They want to be able to look at example.com/.well-known
Now you may have other methods to verify like DNS TXT record/etc, are those options available if it's easier?
Those methods Im absolutely familiar with but EPD doesn't give any of those options to use unfortunately
I don't use Workers but was just discussing in another channel how they can be used to serve static files you could maybe ask around there. You're certainly not far from the mark but lack of development may make workers a tough one to gauge.
I appreciate that! I'll take a look around and see if maybe somebody else had a similar question in all of these channels too haha
You're not to far from your goal it sounds so that's good.
