Looking for versatile options to layer for really casual office
My office has a very casual dress code, most days I wear a polo/button down with jeans/chinos and something like a sport coat would look very out of place. We are now at the time of year where its 90F+ outside and like 65F in the office and I'm in and out of the building all day. Looking for ways to layer to be warm in the office but that I can remove when I have to go into the field. Typically I just rotate like 2 grey and navy crew neck sweatshirts but wanted to look into more interesting options.

feels like a chore coat would spot in nicely here
that or its cousin the french worker jacket; in either case it's a slightly boxier fit than a blazer but otherwise performs the same purpose
Zeo is dead on here
lots of options exist depending on your budget and willingness to shop secondhand
If not that then any kind of shacket/shirt jacket/oversized shirt/overshirt in a thicker/denser fabric
You could also dress down a cord blazer or something
Maybe some cardigan or very unlined instructed casual blazer?
Latter in olive or light gray would be more casual versus typical navy
yeah a cardigan is probablt a good option for me to look into and maybe a chore coat. I think even very casual blazers will stick out too much for my tastes given how the rest of the office dresses
probably overshirt style would also be good, but im pretty ingorant about those
Sticking out isn't necessarily bad.
