yeah onboard just hasn't been updated for 40 yet
and it's layered so fairly sure it's that
Still don't have an error message to work from to help you further. Saying "can't update" is not clear enough for us to diagnose.

as much as it's difficult to read this from a phone image it just says it can't find onboard

you can ujust update as well to get everything but generally it'll automatically do that
