ally black screen on gamescope.
Latest update broke gamescope. It launches on boot into a total black screen.
Does not start from desktop eather.
gamescope: error while loading shared libraries: libwlroots.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or director.

wlroots 0.18.0-2.fc40 -> 0.17.2-1.fc40 rollback worked.. Woudl be nice with a grub menu if this happens without another PC
I think I'm having this same issue on the Legion Go. Just updated Steam, and a reboot stays on a black screen. Unsure how to solve as I can't get into desktop mode or anything
You can hold shift while booting right before boot with a keyboard connected. Chose the other then latest (40.20240427.0) And enter to start then. In bazzite desktop you can use rpm-ostree status to confirm wich works.
I'm not quite following.... Holding shift during boot unfortunately does nothing. My BIOS boot shows 2 options,
bazzite (SKHyinx_HFS001TEJ4X112N) and Fedora (SKHyinx_HFS001TEJ4X112N), but both seem the same and lead to a black screen. Not sure if that matters at allYeah, sorry I was kinda 'documenting' my troubleshooting. I wouldn't know how to solve that if there is no way for you to somehow interupt the boot process / But also after bios boot and get the 'grub' menu up
There must be a way but that shift was found on the web result, I can test it now on another device

press esc
right after
then you should get the menu
if you press it multiple times its okey you can just reboot and get the same menu
did that on my laptop witch also gave me the boot menu like you.. haha
They are both same.
I appreciate the help! Escape got me to the grub menu and I was able to choose an older one and boot successfully. Took me a while to realize that mashing escape was not the right thing, just once did the job
