AMD drivers & dual boot
Does bazzite get drivers like AMD fluid motion ?
I'm thinking whether I should dual boot play my pc games on windows and emulation on bazzite with the AMD drivers if bazzite doesn't get them?

Generally the Linux AMD GPU support is quite good. Not sure about AMD Fluid Motion Frames support in Linux overall though. Regardless of whether AMD Fluid Motion Frames works or not it's probably still worth trying out both normal gaming and emulation in Bazzite.
Emulation has been good that's why I'm considering dual booting keep bazzite for emulation and windows for PC gaming like 3 A titles
Bazzite does work with dual booting with windows but they do recommend installing Bazzite on it's own disk, however it can share disk with Windows if that's not possible.
How do you mean? Sorry might have to dumb it down for me a bit π
Do you mean partition bazzites storage and create a new partition for windows ?
Sorry I it was clearer in my head π
* First prize with Bazzite is to have Windows on one drive dedicated to it and then install Bazzite on a completely separate SSD drive if you want to dual boot
* Option 2, You can shrink the Windows install a bit and install Bazzite in a partition on the same disk as Windows but this can have some issues especially if you delete Bazzite and re-install Bazzite again.
Hmm so my thinking was to do it on the same disc because I have bazzite already on my internal SSD.
So can I not shrink the existing bazzite stroage create a partition where I want to install windows?
ohhhh so you going the other way around :). You'd probably need a live distro of Ubuntu or Mint as you cannot shrink the partition of a live operating system in Linux. When you install Windows though, it might kill your bootloader. Have a look at this guide. https://itsfoss.com/install-windows-after-ubuntu-dual-boot/
It's FOSS
How to Install Windows After Ubuntu Linux in Dual Boot
When it comes to dual boot, the general idea is that you have a system preinstalled with Windows and then you install Linux alongside Windows. On the boot, you select whether you want to use Windows or Linux.
How about the opposite situation? What if you have a system that
This looks too confusing π© what's the easier way for a Noob non techy guy setup? Install windows first then partition to have bazzite on?
In that case It's going to be simpler installing windows then installing Bazzite. Here is the link to a dual-boot video guide for dual booting Bazzite with Windows 11 https://youtu.be/dXBN9OM7mSE have a look at that and see if that is easier.

Dual-booting Windows 11 & Bazzite with Secure boot enabled
In this video we are going to setup a dual boot of Windows 11 and Bazzite (on the same disk). You'd want Windows 11 for any games that do not work at all in Linux. This setup will allow you to have the best of both worlds.
Note: that not all pc manufacterers use ESC to enter the BIOS screen. Also note that I am using Virtualbox so I can easily ...

I'm not sure, I unfortunately don't have a handheld and I cannot see any video guides for that one
I think its similar because it's basically a windows pc on a handheld device. Similar to Rog ally or legion go
Then you should be good π
I will test it out tonight and let you know π

Press F1 and let microsoft do it's troubleshooting, it might be able to fix itself

Dual boot is working now!
