Feedback on my portfolio design
Hello, I have redesign my portfolio to offer my services as a freelancer in web development.
My target market are directors of small/medium business in France, so I went for something more professional. I have a homepage (hero, value proposition, services, projects, qualities, contact form), a about us type page, a detail page per project and a detail page per services.
Here is the figma link : https://www.figma.com/file/46UIjqaAgLcvYYsteJtiGK/Portfolio-v3?type=design&node-id=0-1&mode=design
I would really appreciate your feedback about design (UI/UX)

the form has really bad contrast, which makes the fields (nearly) invisible
also, why do you have to ask for the company name, name, surname, phone, email addres, message ...
nobody will fill that
just ask for the basics: name, email, subject (optional), message
this is super messy on desktop
also, give people the possibility to resize the textarea
thanks for your feedback, I will change the fields colors and change the layout on desktop.
Because the goal is to convert the visitors so I need his phone to call him back and his company to check who they are and what is their actual website
Yeah I will, just didn't know how to do it on figma
not on figma
on the website, when you make it
you're causing lots of friction just to contact you
keep it simple, the rest of the information can come later
you can ask that information if it isn't specified in the message field
yeah I know but this is figma, so I didn't know how to represent it on figma, but I will do it during the development
you can represent it with 3 vertical lines on the bottom-right corner
the lines have to be at a 45º angle
yeah didn't thought about it, but as I'm the one who will develop it, it seems a no brainer for me to resize text area
if 3 is too much, 2 is okay
yeah, I will remove company name maybe, or at least make 3 fields required (phone, name, message)
that is fine, but currently it's way too much
yeah true
do you have other feedback ?
no, im not a designer
and from what i saw, it looks good
but once implemented, then i can give much more feedback
ok thanks, I will implement it during the week
alright
appreciate your feedback !
then put it in #showcase so i can give you better feedback
here's just for ux/ui stuff
you're welcome
yeah sure !
I think you should group it like Personal Information, Company Information and other groups
That's a great idea actually, it would make it clearer
But I think I will go with the minimalistc approach for now and if I see I need to ask more info I will group them like you said
Okay
