Access "Grafana" Icon
Hi, When naming a service "grafana" a custom icon shows up even if none is specified. Is this normal and can it be disabled? (See screenshots)

your question shows the answer, you can see how you can override the application icon there with a custom one. iirc it's just pulling /favico just like browsers do, no way to disable it as far as I know but it's harmless
its harmless yea it's just a little different that's all. Other services also have a favicon and they don't have visible icons tho
just makes it stand out :capoo_shrug:
You can force it to the grafana one by providing a url like https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3b/Grafana_icon.svg, if a few don't have it
I'd guess it might not be able to poke through access itself, perhaps depends on policies on initial setup then. I can't find anything in the docs about it, will maybe play with it later, curious what requests it makes, I don't think it's based purely off name as I renamed one of mine and it didn't do anything
ill just set custom icons for all my services. will give me an excuse to do it 🤣
