The server shown is the server closest to where you live not the end server
but cloudflare has jakarta point of presence, and I live in jakarta
add
/cdn-cgi/trace
at the end of your url and send a screenshot
keep in mind your ip is the 3rd line so blur that if you want tohmm
the cloudflare main site are colo=CGK which is Jakarta
That is weird
sorry I am out of ideas why this is happening
no problem, thankyou about the
/cdn-cgi/trace

try using warp https://one.one.one.one/
1.1.1.1 — The free app that makes your Internet faster.
Install the free app that makes your phone’s Internet more fast, private, and reliable.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
my 1.1.1.1 DNS was actually connected while taking the screenshot
dns only, non warp
DNS doesn't change routing
try changing it to warp
That typically comes down to the ISP. Cloudflare annouces their IPs in multiple locations and it is up to the ISP on how to get to Cloudflare
but warp add pretty much latency than raw non vpn connection, and I did not expect my visitor to use warp
just FYI, still using colo=SIN
What does it say in warp client?
click settings cog
yeah your at the mercy of your isp
sorry

Honest question, why would it matter?
I'm building tunnel server where I bought vps from different indonesia city, it would just much better if cloudflare also route using indonesia
user <-> tun server <-> cloudflare <-> globe
Your VPS might connect to a different PoP than you do from your home internet. It just depends how your ISP peering agreements and routing is set up. Also physically closer not necessarily means more direct connection
I don't understand, other side the route are decided by end user, not the server
The route is decided by the ISP.
Your home connection is probably on a different ISP than your VPS.
yes, but my vps physical location is the same city as I live which is CGK, ideally, it should route using CGK rather than SIN
but internet topography is not necessarily the same as real life geography
warp is only in a few locations, probably not even supported in cgk
