Are u trying to run it on an external hdd or anything external?
It is an internal NVME drive.
I have valorant installed on a secondary disk space though. So it is not in the same disk partition as windows.

This did not work for me.
Time to troubleshoot fr then ig
Open task manager
Then details
Close evry valorant,riot client and vanguard related apps/services
Open control panel
Uninstall programs
Uninstall riot vanguard
Open cmd as admin and type these commands:-
1) sc delete vgc
2)sc delete vgk
Navigate to ur C drive then program files and find vanguard folder and delete it.
Then open riot client and click update
Restart ur pc after the update.
I should mention though, after following this tutorial, I get a different error from windows itself.
Should I still go through with this?

Ah, i wrote it twice. My bad.
Successfully processed 1165 files; Failed processing 0 filesOpen valorant.exe
Gives this error
Right click on valorant.exe
Properties
Compatibility
Show ss
Uncheck those boxes
Then apply
Then ok
Try to open valorant.exe again

Go to shootergame/binaries/win64
Right click on valorant win64 shipping

Compatibility

Unchecked and tried, same error.

I dont have enough space in my C drive

Why does it not work in my D drive though? It used to work just fine when I had the game installed other times.

My cmd still shows acces denied

i tried icacls "E:\Program Files\Riot Games\VALORANT" /grant Users:F /t /c
I used "E" instead of "D" becuase its in the "E" deive
