Length of these chinos and matching advice?

Hi! I'd love your opinion on and advice for these chinos: - Are they too long? It feels a bit too crinkly at the lower part when I'm standing, but when I'm seated, it doesn't expose my ankles/socks too much, so that feels good, though in the second picture it still looks too long. Perhaps it could be shortened a bit? - Any good ideas how to match a top with these and white sneakers? My inspiration/fashion sense can't think of anything more than a navy blue buttondown. Would a slightly darker lightblue oversized shirt work (ton-sur-ton?)? - Any good ideas how to match a top with these and formal light brown shoes? Would the same navy blue buttondown still be good? My own suggestions refer to what I currently have in my closet, but obviously feel free to do other suggestions that involve other colors. Thanks a lot!

might be a little too long, though i think part of what's cause all the breaks is how narrow the leg opening is white sneakers (assuming they are white and not like, beige) with these would go with lots of things - navy, black, most pastels, even white. i'd assuming the light blue would work but without seeing pictures of these (or you wearing them) i can't say for sure with light brown shoes navy would be fine but i would probably stick to a lighter top especially for summer
