Unable to update/upgrade to any version from Bazzite 2.5.0
Hey! Today I installed this version before 3.0.0 released. I'm new here (using this distro too honestly) so maybe I miss some technical details. Seems that my system is unable to find https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/sentry/kernel-ba/fedora-40-x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml repo, so it can't proceed with any kind of update. I didn't modified anything. This is a clean installation. My system specs are shown bellow:

Same issue I'm having. I just installed bazzite today. Kinda nuts right out of the box you can't update it.
Ok, both of you:
sudo rm /etc/yum.repos.d/_copr_sentry-kernel-ba.repo
Then updateMmmm definitely that did something... But still has some problems. Conflicting packages this time
rpm-ostree status | fpaste
@RetroSoulYessir mine is updating right now after doing the first part. It's still going.
awesome
just making sure you saw it
somehow you have, instead of installing a nvidia image, layered nvidia stuff onto a non-nvidia image
this is supremely cursed and I honestly can't believe it boots
please do the following:
rpm-ostree reset
rpm-ostree rebase ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-gnome-asus-nvidia:stable
rpm-ostree update
Solution
you should be fine after those 3

Ok ok i'll try
to be 100% clear
you do or don't have a nvidia GPU?
I have AMD integrated graphics & Nvidia dedicated graphics
perfect
Just came from Fedora Workstation and this atomic kind-of systems are something new to me haha I tried to use a Steam game from my library (Slime Rancher 2) and it seem to not recognize my Nvidia graphics card. I know that's unrelated so I keep that off topic
Updater is still "updating"
there's no progress bar, so that's OK
it'll do it
it was undetected likely because you were on a normal desktop image, and not a nvidia one
now you're properly on our nvidia images, and have the drivers built in + all of our fixes
be sure to select X11 at login
Ohhh okay. I'm using Wayland all the time so I think it's time to "swap" again
Finished. Now I'm rebooting to apply the changes
Done! Thank you so so so much!!
