Cloudflare Pages - HTML

How does this not work (on cloudflare, render, etc.). It's a simple html file. why isnt it loading as the main page?

generally the "main page" or default is index.html

It might be configurable for some hosts, but for CF Pages it's not

i normally do that, wasnt sure if it was a norm for cloudflare
