Your favorite 5" shorts for big quads?
I have very large quads and it makes shopping for shorts very difficult sometimes.
I currently wear Lululemon Pace Breakers as my gym/everyday shorts and Bear Bottom Stretch (https://bearbottomclothing.com/collections/shorts/products/stretch-short) as daily spring/summer shorts. I am looking for something sort of in between, with more flexibility than the Stretch shorts but not as athletic looking as the Pace Breakers.
These Wowie shorts (https://wowielife.com/collections/og-short-5-casual/products/shades-of-grey) would have fit the bill perfectly, but I returned them the same day they arrived due to how uncomfortable and cheap they felt. Huge disappointment.
Anyone have recommendations?
Budget: $100 a pair, but would prefer around $50-$60 a pair. Wouldn't complain about even cheaper shorts if they're decent quality!
Soup suggested measuring my quads and they're about 26.5 inches.

What is your budget and are you looking out for workout shorts or just something to wear with tees and polos? How short are you comfortable with?
how big are your quads though? I'm swear I'm not messing with you here, it'll help people make recommendations if they know what thigh measurement you need
@upsett1_spaghett1 🥀 updated with budget. Something to wear with casual outfits, whether tank top, t-shirts or polos, etc. 5" is the lowest I'd like to go

I have similar sized quads and usually try to look for things that are around a 13.5" thigh measurements when measured across the thigh laid flat.
Some shorts I've had luck with in the past are Patagonia Stand Up shorts but it seems that unfortunately they don't sell these anymore in 5 inch

I'm not aware of specifically 5" options but I recently grabbed some shorts from Grammici that were accommodating in the thigh.
Other options are looking for OG107 fatigue shorts or similar.
Also you could turn an old pair of jeans or fatigues into shorts yourself
American Trench mesh short is pretty nice
