light gray joggers and shorts pairing

I got fabletics one shorts and one joggers in shadow grey color in a big haul with others. I like the color by itself but when I put it on with any fabletics workout t shirts I get confused if it looks good or not. In general I am little scared to wear lighter color bottoms so wondering if I should keep it or exchange. What do you pair light grey bottoms with? the fit model looks fine in the navy shirt, that's a thought with lighter bottoms i tend to either go dark in contrast (the aforementioned navy, black) or white
