Improving a capsule wardrobe
Hi, I am trying to downsize my wardrobe and invest in higher quality pieces.
Does anyone have suggestions on what to add to this or pieces to look into? I have other clothes not included in this photo but this a majority of the wardrobe staples. I work in a business/smart casual office M-F (the dress code is pretty lenient, I can wear jeans).
I recently picked up the red wing moc toe boots (they haven't arrived yet).

Have you had a chance to check out this (and the other guides in #fashion-guides ) https://malefashionadvice.substack.com/p/building-a-basic-wardrobe-v70 ? Seems like you’ve already hit a lot of the highlights, but there could be info to glean.
All of this seems pretty safe/conventional, with the pants looking on the slimmer side of current trends.
A blue or green chore coat, some derbies or loafers, and maybe a beanie or lighter weight (linen) pants for summer depending on where you live might not hurt.
Additional context on your budget, location, etc will help guide subsequent answers.
