Remove domain binding permanently

I used CF for a short time period. Now I want to get off CF again. I disconnected my domain and deleted it from my dashboard afterwards. It seems like it cannot get bound to another dns service. The settings are correct, even tho at my registrar. The only thing changed should be the NS which I set to the new ones. Apparently the domain is still pointing towards the CF-NS and cannot resolve the DNS successfully. Does anyone has a solution or idea for this case?

It can take a few days to update name servers depending on the registrar.

I am already over 96 hrs after the last dns change. I left CF weeks ago. Pretty sure that there is an issue.

What's the domain? CF can't hold your domain hostage if you are using an external registrar it's entirely up to them to change your nameservers, but I can try to point you in the right direction/see if anything is misconfigured

This is the reply I got replied from my registrar - even if the actual set NS point to Plesk and not to CF anymore.

yea I mean whois still shows those and the de TLD ns still responds with them as well:
;; QUESTION SECTION: ;fokusaufsicherheit.de. IN NS ;; AUTHORITY SECTION: fokusaufsicherheit.de. 86400 IN NS pearl.ns.cloudflare.com. fokusaufsicherheit.de. 86400 IN NS lars.ns.cloudflare.com.
It's worth noting that a lot of times Registrars offer DNS services as well as domain services. Make sure you're editing the right one. Usually it's called "Nameservers" directly. If you are for example under the DNS tab or having to create NS records, you're editing them in the wrong place. If you're sure you set them right, will just have to harass your registrar more to get them to fix their stuff

Yes, that's what I did. Well, I mean I did this. Even if there is maybe one thing left I don't remember right - maybe there's the issue - At my registrar I added the two NS from Plesk. The only thing I did not found here was to add the glue record which should be the IP adress for this. - that's why I went to the extended DNS-settings tab where I added a few more A-Records. I added * and @ (also www and mail but thats not neccesary here) in addition with the corresponding IP which should include ns1 and ns2. Through the fact I did not see another option for this I guess it's the only way. In Plesk I added the NS and A records.
