High quality bomber
I am looking for a “high quality” bomber in the range of $200-500 cause I feel like its a staple jacket that never will go out of style and works well with business casual and casual. Plus I am short at 5’6 with a bigger chest and I think bombers work well for a spring/fall jacket. I am looking at this in navy. Thoughts? Would this be a good option? Who else makes quality rain repellent bombers? https://www.norseprojects.com/store/men/outerwear/ryan-gore-tex-infinium-bomber-jacket-dark-navy

It's fine. Norse Projects makes good stuff. If you like the way this looks I'm sure it will serve you well for a long time!
The design of this particular jacket isn't really doing it for me personally. It feels like it doesn't know if it wants to be a proper rain jacket or a bomber jacket. I would like it more as a more classic bomber or with a different collar. An example of a brand that makes good quality classic styled bombers is Alpha Industries. It looks like Snow Peak does a bit more classically styled bomber as well: https://www.snowpeak.com/collections/outerwear/products/light-mountain-cloth-jacket-1#reviews-section. And they also make this, which I use as a rain jacket: https://www.snowpeak.com/products/jk-23au007-2l-octa-jacket. It doesn't have the bomber style collar but other than that it has a similarish vibe to that you might like.

Light Mountain Cloth Jacket
The Light Mountain Cloth Jacket is a relaxed, lightweight bomber jacket. The jacket is made of cotton and nylon. The Light Mountain Cloth Jacket features a low collar, zippered front, buttoned side pockets, and elastic cuffs.
The Light Mountain Cloth Jacket is designed to fit loose on the body, with the hem hitting below the waist. We recommend...
ive got bombers from canada goose and john varvatos that might fit your criteria. the canada goose version is like a windbreaker-ish material and probably more functional if you want rain repellant. the varvatos one is more satin-like and probably wouldnt hold up as well in rain
if you dont mind spending a little more, moncler is good too
