Is it bad when I have to pick up my mouse a bit to turn?
Lately I have been trying to fix my sensitivity so I can see which works best for me. When I think I found a good sensitivity or rather lower sens I have to pick up my mouse a bit to keep turning. My friend says it makes me stop in the middle of when I turn and I should be able to do a full 360. If anyone could help me what I'm doing wrong that would be awesome and much appreciated

You don’t necessarily need to be able to do 360 degree turns.
All you need is a sensitivity to where you can comfortably perform at least a 180 degree turn so that you can turn around, it doesn’t have to take the entire pad, you just have to be comfortable on the sensitivity and be able to accomplish it without issue.
i appreciate the help, what about the thing about lifting my mouse up a bit. does it affect me in some way?
That depends when you have to do it and if you’re aiming with your wrist or your arm
Everyone lifts the mouse, it’s just about not having to do it a crazy amount that will impact your aiming
if you have to in one turn no then yes, its not good, as the other dude said you gotta be able to 180, but if you need to after that to reset it its fine, even rpos do ti
