i've went through this process before; there were no significant spikes
however in valorant this is what it says
Hm rtt lag

Just to be sure
The summary
At the very end
oh alr
how do i stop it manually??
ctrl+c
while there were a few spikes, it happened not very often
whereas in valorant it happens literally 24/7 every 3-5 seconds
not sure why, but it happens
That is still pretty inconsistent
yeah
What dns are u using?
not sure, how do i check
Network adapter settings
Disable ipv6
Right click on ipv4
Then properties
can you send a ss of where that is??
Not on my pc rn
also my apologies; wifi not ethernet
ohh i found what you were talking about
ipv6 was already off
Show the ss of ur dns
i will yes but also; 1.1.1.1 seems to have a better average than 8.8.8.8
8.8.8.8 was 31 ms avg
Doesn't matter tbh
oh alright
the one in ctrl panel or the one just in settings?
Control panel
Ipv6 is disabled right?
yes
it was disabled when i checked earlier
Scroll down a bit
And show a ss
Right click on internet protocol version 4
Properties
Show ss
Properties
now what
Have u tried updating ur network lan drivers?
nah how can i do that?
Also that is ur motherboard's wifi and not some external one right?
no it isn't my motherboard's wifi, my router is downstairs

I mean the wifi adapter
shi my fault
Is there a wifi adapter inside ur motherboard?

cloudflare WARP is the only solution for your problem. I did everything, even format of my pc and router 🙂
if u go shooting range and turn on bots and get ping spike freeze its the only way. lag spikes appears when loading enemy models, thats why u get spike when round start/ enemy appears etc
wrong, these problems can be caused by various problems
from my experience with rtt jitters there are better solutions than warp
@lyra so give some tips, tried literally everything and it was only way 😦 custom DNS not working also, only thru warp
most successful thing is to update your LAN and WLAN drivers
are you still having this trouble?
yeah
install the drivers
here
alright
I appreciate the idea of cloudflare warp, my issue was fixed after hours of struggling!! thank you sm :)
