Modded server is taking 30+ minutes to start up
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me troubleshoot an issue I'm having with my 1.20.1 mohoist server. It takes over half an hour to start up and most of that time it's posting "Saving chunks for level 'ServerLevel[world]'/{every dimension}" to the logs. It has 15gb of ram running on CraftyController through Docker. I'm also not exactly sure why it's saving chunks before it starts the server. I'll post a mod list soon

Don't know how the bot can detect offline mode from a mod list but ok (offline mode is not enabled.)
Let me know if theres any important information that I can provide to help troubleshoot.
the bot is dumb and doesnt work
with that detection

Please Avoid Hybrid Servers
Please avoid using server software that combines both mod and plugin APIs, such as Mohist, Magma, Cauldron, Thermos, CatServer, Cardboard, and others. These server software clash, as Bukkit was made for plugins and Forge for mods. Mixing them requires significant changes to the Bukkit API and Forge server code. If not done correctly, both plugins and mods can act strangely. Using these will almost guaranteed cause strange issues that make it near-impossible to assist.
If you are running 1.8 or 1.16.5, a good alternative to these is SpongeForge, a well-engineered solution that allows running Sponge plugins alongside Forge mods. Many Bukkit plugins also have Sponge ports.

hybrids are unstable and unsupported
@Mortis :death:
oops sorry pro for ping

Ah I see. Understandable but disappointing. Hopefully I can migrate the plugins I use to something supported by Forge and I'll get back to this. Thanks for the info :)
If you do still want to use hybrids then please use arclight, it is 10x better than mohist (mohist devs I also don't like)
arclight also sucks
they all suck but arclight is the best out of them all, they also support fabric
