Is it known that xamarin will be supported for at least another six months without transferring it to MAUI?

Some other suppliers might be able to keep supporting you (as the source code is public), but not from Microsoft. Another six month will be a terrible thing for such suppliers, as iOS/Android will have new releases. But who knows what might happen if you pay them well.
