Anyone heard of / bought from 'Lands End' ? (UK)

Just came across their site looking for straight fit chinos. The amazing things is, they have options for a variety of leg lengths that they alter/hem for free, and a free refund is possible if we dont like the fit (even going as low as 24 inches, which is around perfect for me!). As well as hemming finish (turn-ups / plainhems). E.g, 1 pair of chinos is however 60% cotton, 37% recycled poly & 3% elastane: https://www.landsend.co.uk/Mens_Ultimate_Chinos%2C_Traditional_Fit/pp/P_43334.html?dwvar_P__43334_sizeVariation=59&dwvar_P__43334_color=AK9&cgid=11385&dwvar_P__43334_size=30 Another pair is 100% cotton (although 26" lowest inseam). I'm worried, am I missing something obvious here? Site has loads of reviews, they have a store (too far for me), but I havent seen it talked about a lot (youtube/reddit etc). Happy to stick with my Next straight fit chinos, but curious..!

it's a heritage american brand so that might explain the lack of buzz in the uk imo it's the midpoint between j.crew (overpriced basics) and ll bean (distinct ivy/preppy flavor); not awful in taste in quality, kinda expensive at full price keep in mind all of the free things re shipping will still take time as you're based in the uk. you have to ask yourself if the additional time spent is worth the convenience

I think they ship from UK for .co.uk orders and Germany for EU orders Looks like 2-5 days delivery (+ extra if you get the alterations service) Cozzie - seems they are linked with Debenhams / House of Fraser here for the online business. So will be similar ballpark to that type of department store brand stuff! As zeo says, definitely legit, just kinda expensive heritage mall brand esque I see their vintage stuff talked about highly, no idea on how the modern stuff stands up but should certainly be as good as Next or similar

ahh got it thanks guys. Ye I also read they cater for older generation, liek 50+ lol. But a chino is a chino. That's all I'm interested in + to enquire about that quality.

They're legit. Just a lesser known USA brand in the UK. Seems to have mega discount. Bought a £150 blazer for £25 off them a week or two ago

Lands end was a part of Sears, a now defunct, but old major department store in the US. When Sears went under I think Lands End was parted out. Classic, mid-level, kinda working class clothing. Flannels, work shirts, chinos, etc. Little less Capital F Fashion minded, which you might associate with a brand suited for the older audience who remembers their heyday
