50yo - Summer hats
My doc is suggesting that I start covering my head more when I'm outside in the summer time. I'd like some ideas that are a little more fashionable than a trucker / baseball hat.
Any recommendations?

Bucket hats, linen or cotton flat caps.

Trillbys are like 1 inch brim, mine are 2 3/4 brims
But yes! Try out a fedora, go with a straw panama, it's the easiest one to ease into
Perfect for summer and there's all kinds of ribbon styles you can play with
You can always search for @The Teenage Gentleman lol for some good fedora examples.
But the wider the brim, the less you'll get mistaken for:
