Found these PRL ones and also curious if the color is too difficult to style to be worth buying
Seller is asking $20 plus $9 shipping, and I'd have to get the hem extended and prob waist taken in a bit which would add $20
are they definitely light green or are they potentially yellow? might be worth checking because i've been surprised by the color of vintage PRL
assuming it's light green, white is a classic, and pink would be an inspired choice (be it solid pink or a red university stripe). beige/tan may also be viable depending on the actual color of the pants
given your concerns i would honestly pass on this unless they accepted returns

if you were to buy these either loafers (black, color 8 or suede) or plain white sneakers
maybe paraboots but you'd have to do some creative styling and the combo of pant and shoe might draw the eye down
Hmm...I would say with a color like this, it's either "I love the color and I'll make it work" or "naah".
If you'd already bought them, I'd cheer you on and make them work, but if you have to ask whether to buy them...
@zeometer is right as usual - I have (or had?) a similar pair of linen slacks, white shirt/white sneakers is ezpz with them
