Free tier - Usage limits/going over them?

I've looked around the website and couldn't find anything regarding what happens if you exceed usage limits. Is it possible to inadvertently owe money by exceeding limits on the free tier? (assuming of course you don't use any features that charge you money up front, and it's just static html/css) I want to avoid the Netlify situation.

If all you're using is the static html/css, pages will not suddenly start charging you. If you're using pages functions, you will not be charged overages unless you sign up for the workers paid plan. If you use other products, like R2, depending on the product those are billed separately and will start charging overages if you go over the free tier.

So, as long as I'm just using static content (html, css, js) and nothing else -- zero chance I'll be charged (unless of course CF changes plan structure/policies later on)

Yup. If you want to be extra sure and you're not using any other products from CF you're paying for, just don't add a payment method. AFAIK it's not required for pages
