facing extreme packet loss
just got back into val after finally figuring out secure boot issues and am now facing extreme packet loss whenever I load into a practice or match anyone know how to fix this??

how much packet loss to you get?
spikes randomly and force reloads me into the server i am in
played a death match with everyone standing still then catches up and I am dead, launched a practice and can stand still to shoot but soon as I moved or interacted with the bots I lagged out
I assume its a packet loss thing?
can you try to play a death match with the following graphes on: Packetloss, Networt RTT and Network RTT Jitters
and show about a 30sec clip or something like that
I have a samsung ssd with plenty of space on it, ive ran this game before without issue but finally came back to it after fixing secure boot issues and am facing this

It can be many things so we need to diagnose it
I dont currently have a way to record the screen any recs? or could I screenshare in a call? (no mic just textchat if thats alright Hard of Hearing)

get a sleep sis
it might just be problems with the isp
they might be running tests etc
do you think is your hardware [router]
i think its more likely to just be isp sided

Hard Network resetnot sure and its hard to know cause i live on a college campus, I can say with certainty that this is not an issue with any other games I play, (Destiny 2, CSGO, R6, etc)
oh other games are working fine ?
i mean i usally get problems with jitters at odd hours

Heres what i have done so far, updated system and drivers, restarted pc, checked storage space, disconnected ethernet and reconnected, maybe i just tried playing at an odd hour but still wierd its only happened with VAl

it might have just been that you hopped on when your isp restarted a server or something like that
and 7:20 can be seens as odd hour
i have a buddy playing the same game just fine during that time, i just got unlucky or something?

turn on all graphs in settings
then do this
when the problems occure
yeah if it happens again while I am playing tn I will record it and see whats spiking
